AYA Bank proudly sponsored an enriching excursion trip to Malaysia for four exceptional individuals from the Myanmar Down Syndrome Association, as part of our ongoing commitment to promote diversity and inclusivity. This meaningful journey took place from May 8 to May 11, 2025, offering participants a chance to explore new experiences and develop valuable life skills.

The four-day trip included visits to:

·  AnISD (Early Childhood Day Care Centre) in Putrajaya – A center dedicated to early childhood education and care for children with special needs.

·  MAHFFA (Malaysia High Functioning Autism Association) in Cyberjaya – An organization focused on empowering individuals with high-functioning autism through education, support, and advocacy.

·  Kuala Lumpur City Tour – A sightseeing experience to explore the culture and vibrant urban life of Malaysia’s capital.

This initiative was designed to enrich the lives of persons with disabilities (PWDs) by:

·  Opening up the world to them and giving them the courage to try new things in a supportive and inclusive environment.

·  Fostering inclusive experiences that helped develop their communication skills, enabling them to build meaningful connections with both local and international communities.

·  Encouraging personal development through participation in structured activities aimed at enhancing their confidence and capacity.

·  Providing a joyful opportunity to have fun in the park and enjoy the outdoors, promoting both physical and emotional well-being.

We believe that every individual, regardless of ability, should be given the opportunity to explore the world and unlock their full potential. This program is a small but significant step in empowering persons with disabilities and reflecting our commitment to building a more inclusive society.
