At AYA Bank PCL, our people are our greatest asset. On the first Friday of March, we proudly celebrated Employee Appreciation Day 2025, a day dedicated to recognizing and honoring the dedication and hard work of our 6,500+ strong team. This celebration was more than just an event; it was a heartfelt expression of our gratitude and a reaffirmation of our commitment to fostering a positive and appreciative workplace culture.
A Day of Delight and Recognition:
The day began with a warm and vibrant welcome. Our leadership team, led by Vice Chair Daw Khin Ma Ma, greeted employees with smiles and white roses as they walked down a celebratory red carpet. Refreshing welcome drinks and playful "sticker attacks" filled the Banking Hall with laughter and energy, setting a joyful tone for the day. A dedicated Gratitude Wall provided a space for heartfelt messages of appreciation, reminding us of the positive impact we have on each other.
Sweet treats, including generous servings of ice cream, added to the festive atmosphere. Team activities, such as a fun and engaging quiz with exciting prizes, fostered camaraderie and strengthened bonds. As a token of our appreciation, every employee received a special AYA appreciation gift.
Empowering Excellence: The AYA Town Hall:
A key highlight of the day was the AYA Town Hall, held at Rowe Head Office in Yangon and streamed live to our entire workforce nationwide. Our Chief Executive Officer, Daw Jasmine Thazin Aung, delivered an inspiring address on "Empowering Excellence: Celebrating Our People." Her powerful message emphasized:
