Recently it was learnt that false information was being spread in an effort to jeopardize the financial system and to disrupt the normal flow of banking services to the public. The statements circulating on these social media pages and websites about restrictions on cash withdrawals from bank deposit accounts are false and misleading. Similarly, the news that some private banks have paid their employees salary in advance is also false news.
Customers can make unlimited cash withdrawals from bank deposit accounts, and they can access banking services at any branch across the country as the public can easily find out information about the bank's deposit accounts through the Core Banking System. Also, through digital means, banking services and payments can be made easily and banking services are operating as usual. Presently, bank customers are receiving regular banking services from the banks without disruption.
We would like to inform you that we are cooperating with law enforcement organizations to identify and take action against those who spread false information to harm the public's interest in accordance with the law and impose effective and deterrent punishments.

ယခုလတ်တလောကာလတွင် အများပြည်သူအကျိုးစီးပွားပျက်စီးစေရန် မသမာသူလူတစ်စုက လူမှုကွန်ယက်စာမျက်နှာများတွင် သတင်း မှားများ ဖြန့်ဝေလျက်ရှိကြောင်းသိရှိရပါသည်။ အဆိုပါ လူမှုကွန်ယက်စာမျက်နှာများနှင့် အင်တာနက် Website များတွင် ဖြန့်ဝေနေသော ဘဏ်များရှိ အပ်ငွေစာရင်းများမှ ငွေသားထုတ်ယူခြင်းများကို ကန့်သတ်နေကြောင်း ထုတ်ပြန်ချက်များသည် မဟုတ်မမှန်သော သတင်းမှား များသာ ဖြစ်ကြပါသည်။ အလားတူ အချို့ပုဂ္ဂလိကဘဏ်များတွင် ဝန်ထမ်းများကို လစာများကြိုတင်ထုတ်ပေးကြောင်း သတင်းများသည်လည်း သတင်းမှားများဖြစ်ကြပါသည်။
ဘဏ်များရှိ အပ်ငွေစာရင်းများမှ ငွေသားထုတ်ယူခြင်းများကို ကန့်သတ်ချက်မရှိထုတ်ယူနိုင်ပြီး ဘဏ်များ၏ ဘဏ်ခွဲအသီးသီးတွင် Core Banking System စနစ်အရ အများပြည်သူ အပ်နှံ ငွေစာရင်း အချက်အလက်များကို အဆင်ပြေချောမွေ့စွာသိရှိနိုင်သဖြင့် နိုင်ငံတစ်ဝန်းရှိ မည်သည့် ဘဏ်ခွဲတွင်မဆို ဘဏ်လုပ်ငန်းဝန်ဆောင်မှုများ ရယူနိုင်ပါသည်။ ထို့ပြင် ဒစ်ဂျစ်တယ်နည်းလမ်းဖြင့်လည်း ဘဏ်လုပ်ငန်းဆိုင်ရာ ဝန်ဆောင်မှုများ၊ ပေးချေမှုများကို လွယ်ကူစွာဆောင်ရွက်နိုင်ပြီး ဘဏ်များတွင် ဘဏ်လုပ်ငန်းဝန်ဆောင်မှုများကို ပုံမှန်အတိုင်းဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိ ပါသည်။ ဘဏ်များ၏ Customer များကလည်း ပုံမှန်ဘဏ်လုပ်ငန်းဝန်ဆောင်မှုများကို ဘဏ်များထံမှ ရယူဆောင်ရွက်လျက် ရှိကြပါသည်။
ဤကဲ့သို့ အများပြည်သူ၏ အကျိုးစီးပွါးကို ထိခိုက်ပျက်စီးစေရန် သတင်းမှားများဖြန့်ဝေသူ များကိုဥပဒေပြဌာန်းချက်များနှင့်အညီ ဖော်ထုတ် အရေးယူပြီး ထိရောက်ဟန့်တားသော ပြစ်ဒဏ်များ ချမှတ်နိုင်ရန် တရားဥပဒေစိုးမိုးရေး အဖွဲ့အစည်းများနှင့် ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိ ကြောင်း သတင်းထုတ်ပြန်အပ်ပါသည်။
