August 11, 2026 marks 16 years of AYA Bank’s journey, a journey built on trust, strengthened by partnerships, and driven by our commitment to serving our customers better. In commemorating our 16 th Anniversary, we hosted the townhall, bringing together colleagues across the bank to honor our shared history and future vision!

Sixteen years is full of milestones, shared challenges, and unforgettable moments. Through every situation over these 16 years of banking excellence, we have continuously learned, adapted, and resolved challenges together strengthening our resilience, institution, and trust every step of the way.

Our program featured a special 16 th Anniversary Poem display, inspirational remarks from our Founder Chairman, U Zaw Zaw, Vice Chairman, U Than Zaw, and CEO, Daw Jasmine Thazin Aung and a dedicated "Back to Sweet 16 Memories" panel session where colleagues reflected on their personal journeys at the bank. We rounded out the celebration with our "Our Journey, Our Trust" video campaign showcase and an awards segment honoring our standout teams.

In commemorating the 16th Anniversary, AYA Bank celebrated this significant milestone with a series of meaningful activities that reflected its enduring commitment to gratitude, compassion, and community well-being.

On the morning of Tuesday, 11 August 2026, a commemorative religious ceremony was held at AYA Bank’s Head Office, ROWE. Senior Management members, Department Heads, and employees from various departments, led by Founder Chairman U Zaw Zaw, paid homage and listened to the Dhamma teachings delivered by venerable monks led by Venerable Ashin Bhaddanta Jāgara of Myathaintan Monastery. As part of the ceremony, AYA Bank offered Waso robes, religious offerings, and a donation of cash in Nawa Kamma contributions to the Sangha.

Giving Back to the Community

On the day, AYA Bank also extended its support to communities and organizations in need through charitable donations across various regions, coordinated by the Head Office and Divisions.

    • The Head Office organized a cash donation to Kamaswe Monastic Education School in Kamakhlok Village, Kyauktan Township, as well as a cash donation and a one-day nutritional support programme at Yankin Children Hospital through the AYA Foundation.
    • Division 1 made cash donations to Wijayadayi Nuns’ Education Centre in Ywar Thar Gyi and Say-Sar-Yi Retirement Home.
    • Division 2 made a cash donation to Shwe Gone Daing Child Care Centre under the Department of Social Welfare.
    • Division 3 provided medical funds to Panchanikaya Monastery and Masoyein Monastery, as well as lunch and nutritional support to Say-Sar-Yeik Aged Home.
    • Division 4 made a donation to Maha Parahita Youth Development Garden (Sama Taung).
    • Division 5 contributed cash as medical funds to Youth Development Charity Home (Thukha Yat Mon, Mandalay) and Yadanar Aung Myin Orphanage and Child Care Centre.
    • Division 6 supported the Ayeyarwady Regional Association of Persons with Disabilities.
    • Division 7 made donations to Thaw Ka Myaung Monastery and Myo Set Thit Youth Charity Home in Taung Sun, Bilin Township.

Through these initiatives, AYA Bank contributed a total of MMK 50 million to various charitable, educational, healthcare, and social welfare causes, reaffirming its commitment to creating a positive and lasting impact on communities across Myanmar.

Celebrating with Customers

The spirit of AYA Bank’s 16th Anniversary extended beyond charitable activities. Branches across the country also joined in the celebration by warmly welcoming customers who visited the Bank on the anniversary day and offering them refreshments and food as a gesture of appreciation.

These anniversary activities represent more than a celebration of sixteen years of banking excellence. They reflect AYA Bank’s longstanding values of gratitude, generosity, and shared responsibility, which are values that continue to guide the Bank as it grows together with its customers, employees, and communities.

Supporting the growth and long-term success of MSMEs, AYA Bank and AYA SOMPO Insurance have taken a significant step forward through a strategic partnership.

As members of AYA Financial Group (AFG), AYA SOMPO Insurance and AYA Bank successfully held the Partnership Signing Ceremony to introduce Credit Guarantee Insurance (CGI), an innovative insurance solution designed to strengthen access to financing for MSMEs in Myanmar. Credit Guarantee Insurance (CGI) helps reduce  credit risks, enabling banks and financial institutions to extend financing with greater confidence while improving access to funding for MSME businesses to grow and expand.

Through this collaboration, AYA Bank and AYA SOMPO Insurance are committed to fostering a stronger MSME ecosystem, supporting sustainable business growth, and contributing to Myanmar's long-term economic development.

AYA Bank Proudly Supports Entrepreneurship and MSME Growth through the SCORE Entrepreneurship Support Programme. With the aim of empowering young entrepreneurs and fostering the growth of new startups across the region, the Business Plan Competition and Networking Event under the Entrepreneurship Support Programme (ESP) of the SCORE Project was successfully held on 25 July 2026 at Swen Hotel, Pathein, Ayeyarwady Region.

The SCORE Project is jointly implemented by HELVETAS Myanmar and sequa, with funding support from the European Union (EU). AYA Bank was honored to participate in this meaningful event, reaffirming our commitment to supporting entrepreneurship and sustainable business development.

As part of the programme, AYA Bank shared valuable Financial Literacy knowledge with aspiring entrepreneurs, startup founders, and MSME business owners. The session focused on strengthening financial management capabilities and equipping participants with practical knowledge to build sustainable businesses and achieve sustainable growth.

In addition, our team introduced the Bank's MSME/SME financing solutions, providing detailed guidance on loan eligibility requirements, application procedures, and key considerations to help businesses access the capital they need to expand and succeed.

On 7th July 2026, AYA Bank and PRO 1 Global Company Limited officially signed an Agent Banking Partnership Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Pathein Hall, AYA Bank Head Office in Yangon.

The milestone ceremony commenced with opening remarks by Daw Jasmine Thazin Aung, Chief Executive Officer of AYA Bank, followed by an appreciation speech from Mr. Teerapong Thongmuean, Chief Financial Officer of PRO 1 Global Company Limited. U Nay Lin Htut, Chief Business Officer of AYA Bank, then presented the strategic vision and core objectives of the partnership, highlighting its pivotal role in expanding customer access to financial services through a stronger nationwide service network.

Through this strategic collaboration, AYA Bank customers can conveniently access essential banking services at participating PRO 1 Home Center branches (Sattsan, East Dagon and Thawmawadi). At the same time, PRO 1 customers will enjoy a seamless one-stop experience where they can manage both their banking and shopping needs in a single visit, saving time and improving convenience.

AYA Agent Banking brings essential financial services directly into local communities. Instead of visiting a traditional bank branch, customers can securely perform everyday banking transactions, including cash deposits, cash withdrawals, fund transfers, and other banking services quickly and conveniently through authorized AYA Agent locations.

Together, AYA Bank and PRO 1 Global are committed to advancing financial inclusion, expanding access to banking services, and delivering greater convenience through a trusted network that brings banking closer to the communities we serve.

လက်ရှိ အခြေအနေများအရ ပြည်ပမှ ဆီပိုမိုတင်သွင်းနိုင်ရေးအတွက် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတော်ဗဟိုဘဏ် အနေဖြင့် ‌စျေးကွက်လိုအပ်ချက်အပေါ် အပြည့်အဝပံ့ပိုးပေးနိုင်ရန် (၂၃-၃-၂၀၂၆) ရက်နေ့တွင် စက်သုံးဆီတင်သွင်းသည့်  ကုမ္ပဏီများအား အမေရိကန်ဒေါ်လာ ၄၅ သန်းကို သက်ဆိုင်ရာ ဘဏ်များမှတစ်ဆင့် ရောင်းချပေးခဲ့ပါသည်။

မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတော်ဗဟိုဘဏ်မှ ‌စျေးကွက်လိုအပ်ချက်အရ FX Trading Platform တွင် သွင်းကုန်လုပ်ငန်းရှင်များအတွက် ထိုင်းဘတ် သန်း ၅၀ ကိုလည်းရောင်းချပေးမည် ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
